Pictured above is my 2008 Yamaha WR250R project bike with a few new additions from Wolfman Motorcycle Luggage. Currently I have a Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag, a Wolfman Enduro Carry All Number Plate Bag, and a Wolfman Peak Tail Bag mounted to a Pro Moto Billet Cargo Rack. This is an excellent starter setup for carrying things around on your WR250R. I will be exploring a few more options, like saddlebags with side racks, at some point. Stay tuned...

Hauling stuff around on your WR250R can be a challenge. Enter Wolfman Motorcycle Luggage. Their Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag, shown above, fits the tank and seat area of the Yamaha WR250R perfectly, allowing you to carry small items in a convenient and easily accessible area of the bike.
The bag features a 4-point quick release mounting system, and the no-skid/no-scratch pad keeps it in place during the most aggressive of off-road riding. It's innovative design allows the bag to sit on the tank and not interfere with the gas cap or the vent hose. Other features include an interior mesh pocket, outter mesh pocket, removable clear map pocket, and key clip. The contents of the bag can be accessed by un-zipping the heavy duty zipper that runs around the top of the bag, and then flipping the top up. An optional waterproof cover is available as well.
You won't find a better tank bag for the WR250R!

The photos above show a Wolfman Peak Tail Bag mounted to a Pro Moto Billet WR250R Cargo Rack. This bag/rack combination works great for hauling things around on the back of your WR250R Dual Sport or Yamaha WR250X Supermoto. The tail bag fits the Pro Moto Billet rack perfectly and is secured by wrapping its four mounting straps around the outer edges of the cargo rack.
For its size, this tail bag holds a lot of stuff! The bags contents can be accessed very easily... you just un-zip the heavy duty zipper that runs around the top of the bag, then flip the top open (see photo above bottom/left). Internally, two straps keep its contents stable, and the top bungee-web is a great place to keep gloves and other things handy when off the bike. An expandable 4" gusset makes room for even more cargo when fully unzipped. The bag is stiff-sided to retain its shape and looks, whether empty or full. An optional waterproof cover is available as well.

The Wolfman Enduro Carry All is my favorite bag for carrying small personal items on my WR250R (and WR250X). The bag fits the number plate area above the headlight perfectly, and is large enough to fit my wallet, cell phone, digital camera, and keys. Installation is super easy via two straps on the top that loop around the handlebar and two straps on the bottom that loop around the lower triple clamp.
These bags mount above the headlight on virtually any dirt bike, dual sport, or supermoto. Thanks to its compact size, the bag is great alternative to a tank bag, and easilty fits lightweight items like cell phones, compact cameras, wallets, keys and extra gloves.
Everything stored inside is easily accessed via the heavy duty zipper on top. A small map pocket is included and can face the rider, stay out of the way on the front of the bag, or be removed altogether.

I've got my WR250R in sort of a Supermoto Adventure Touring mode right now. I'm hoping to do a Blue Ridge Parkway ride this summer, which will be practically all paved roads, so I'm thinking a luggage setup similar to what's shown above will work.
Here's what I have for luggage...
• Wolfman Expedition Dry Saddlebags
• Wolfman WR250R Side Racks
• Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag
• Wolfman Peak Tail Bag
• Wolfman Enduro Carry All Number Plate Bag
• Wolfman Expedition Dry Duffel Bag, Small

Lately I've been playing around with different luggage options in preparation for some long off-road rides next summer. Shown in these photos are the following:
• Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag
• Wolfman Peak Tail Bag
• Wolfman Mini Beta Plus Rear Bag
• Wolfman Enduro Duffel Bag
A few weeks ago I did my first day trip with this setup and the Mini Beta Plus Rear bag was too far forward making it difficult to stand up while riding. So, for this past weekends day trip I moved the Peak Tail Bag back about 3 inches on my Pro Moto Billet Rack, and that allowed me to move the Beta rear bag back a few inches as well. This worked out great and it's now easier to stand up while riding. I strapped a Wolfman Enduro Duffle bag to the top of the Beta rear bag and it stayed in place nicely. I will probably replace that with a waterproof Wolfman Expedition Dry Duffel.

This past weekend I did a short day trip using some new Wolfman luggage I recently picked up. Here's the setup I used...
• Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag
• Wolfman Mini Beta Plus Rear Bag
• Wolfman Peak Tail Bag
Everything worked great. I really like the Wolfman Mini Beta Plus bag on the WR250R. It fits very securely on the back of the seat and works great with the Peak Tail bag and Enduro tank bag. To mount the Mini Beta Plus bag I had to put my passenger footpegs back on since they are the perfect mounting spot for the bags front mounting straps. The rear straps wrap around my Pro Moto Billet Cargo Rack.
For my next trip I am going to try and move the Mini Beta Plus and Peak Tail bag back an inch or two. I seemed to have them too far forward and it would have made standing up while riding pretty difficult. I think if I moved them back a few inches it would be perfect.
The Mini Beta Plus bag holds quite a bit of stuff. It's not waterproof, but I keep my clothes inside it in dry bags just in case I encounter wet weather. In the Enduro tank bag I kept my wallet, camera, cell phone, and other things that I need quick access too. In the Peak Tail bag I carry mostly tools and stuff like that. This setup seemed to work out pretty well, and if I need to carry more things I could easily attach a Wolfman Enduro Duffle bag to the top of the Mini Beta Plus bag.
Next I'm going to try Wolfman's Enduro Duffle along with their E-10 Enduro Saddlebags to see how that compares. More on that over the next couple weeks...

After installing the Pro Moto Billet Cargo rack on my WR250R, I added a Wolfman Peak Tail bag. This wedge shaped bag fits perfectly on top of the PMB rack and is secured by 4 straps that wrap around the edge of the rack. To retain it's shape, the bag is stiffened with plastic and foam. A large and durable #10 Ykk zippered main opening allows easy access to your cargo.
I think this might just be the perfect tail bag for the WR250R, especially if you have the Pro Moto Billet Rack. It fits perfectly on top of the rack and will hold a lot of stuff. Two thumbs up!

I went back and forth on which of these tank bags to go with, so I ordered one of each to try out on my WR250R. Shown above is the Enduro tank bag.
Both bags mount to the WR250R/X tank the same exact way, with front and rear mounting points. Once you get them tightened down they seem to be very secure. Here are my thoughts on the two tank bags...
Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag:
The Enduro Tank Bag, shown in photo above, is slightly smaller than the Small Expedition bag, and is not as expandable. Since I don't plan on carrying a lot of stuff in my tank bag, the smaller size is not that big of a deal to me. When sitting on the bike, you can feel the bag, but it doesn't feel like it's in the way or anything. The thing I like most about the Enduro tank bag is how easy it is to open and close it... you just unzip the top and it flips open...simple as that. The bag is NOT waterproof, but a rain cover is available.
Wolfman Small Expedition Tank Bag:
The Small Expedition tank bag is slightly larger than the Enduro tank bag and has an expandable top which makes the bag taller. If you want to carry alot of stuff in your tank bag, this would be the better choice. This bag is a little bit longer and seems to angle back towards the rider more, especially if you have it expanded, and I felt like I was pushing it forward when in my normal riding position. I got used to it, but the Enduro tank bag didn't seem to do this. The bag is more waterproof than the Enduro tank bag, but that leads to another drawback.... it's not that easy to open the bag and get inside. You have to unclip two buckles to flip the top up, then unclip another buckle inside, and then open a drawstring cinch top. All of that will keep water out, but it makes it a task to get in and get stuff out.
Final Thoughts:
In the end, I decided to keep the Enduro Tank bag. I think that it's slightly smaller size makes it fit the WR250R/X tank better, and I like how easy it is to open the top and get inside. It's not waterproof, but I have the rain cover I can put on if I need to.
