We recently installed Zeta Armor Hand Guards on our 2008 Yamaha WR250R and our 2009 Yamaha WR250X.
On our WR250R...
The WR250R got Zeta Armor Hand Guards (1 1/8" size) along with Zeta XC Flasher protectors that integrate the front turn signals into the plastic hand guard. We also installed a 12oclockLabs Turn Signal Running Light Adapter as well as a 12oclockLabs Fixed Rate Turn Signal Flasher to get the front XC Flasher Protectors to operate as running lights and flash at the slow factory turn signal flash rate. Since we ride this bike off-road, we installed the handguards using the optional Zeta Hand Guard Mount for Triple Clamps, which is the most secure way to mount them and lessen the likelihood of them rotating on the handlebar in the event of a crash.
On our WR250X...
Our WR250X got the Zeta Armor Hand Guards (7/8" size) with the standard plastic Zeta XC Protectors.
